About Christine

Dr. Christine Ashley is a licensed acupuncturist in the state of California. She is trained in acupuncture, herbal therapy, diet, nutrition, cupping and moxibustion. Christine specializes in acute and chronic pain, sports injuries, digestive support, and emotional and sleep issues.

Christine received her Doctorate of Acupuncture and Chinese Medicine (DACM) from the American College of Traditional Chinese Medicine (ACTCM) in San Francisco, California. While attending ACTCM, she also received an Intuition Medicine Certificate (IMC) from the Academy of Intuition Medicine in Sausalito, California.

Prior to becoming an acupuncturist, Christine graduated with a degree from Duke University. While attending college, she was a member of the Duke University Division I Women’s Field Hockey Team and a member of youth US Women’s National Field Hockey teams for a number of years prior to her retirement from competitive sports.

Christine worked in the corporate arena for over 10 years before being called to the healing arts of acupuncture and Chinese medicine. She believes that healing happens through treating the mind, body and spirit, and it is her passion to help people heal themselves.
